Action for inclusion
Action for Inclusion is the SE Region Learning and Skills Council strategy to deliver the learning for Living and Work agenda and is delivery mainly projects and programmes to support young people with learning difficulties and disabilities to achieve their potential.
The overall Vision:
To expand the choice of high quality education opportunities for people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities through embedding inclusive learning and building local provider capacity across the South East.
Our aim is to:
· Provide a regional picture of the pattern of provision mapped against need
· Extend local and specialist provider capacity
· Support specific learner groups
· Enable more learners to learn locally in high quality provision
· Help more learners progress to sustainable employment
· Improve the quality of provision and develop the workforce
Treloar College is a lead Action For Inclusion provider for the Regional Independent Specialist Colleges and works on a number of projects in collaboration with local and regional mainstream colleges.
