Assistive Technology Services
Treloar's Outreach Services now offer the Asssistive Technology department's expert skills to individuals, professionals and organisations within the wider community. These services are available to a range of ages and disabilities on our Trailblazer vehicle either via appointments at our Holybourne Campus near Alton, or by travelling to your home, school, residential or medical facility.
The Treloar in-house team comprises eight staff with the skills and facilities to design and build equipment to precisely meet your needs. Located on the Holybourne Campus we have extensive assessment rooms, workshops, independent living solutions, a wheelchair ability course, as well as state-of the-art facilities from which our School and College students benefit daily.
We currently offer the following key services through our Assistive Technology department, although we are flexible and open to supporting each individual's specific needs where we can offer an effective solution:
- Power wheelchair mobility solutions
- Wheelchair modifications and accessories
- Communication equipment mounting
- Access to ICT and technology
The purpose is to provide a person-centred, innovative and product-independent solution to meet each individual's specific situation and needs. Working closely with you, we aim to ensure that you are well equipped to meet day-to-day challenges and get the most out of life.
