Enterprise Fete at Treloar College

Treloar College students enjoyed an enterprising afternoon last Friday (15 July).

A fete was held in the Chill Out Zone and the grounds of the College site at Holybourne to raise money for Whizz Kidz charity and Canine Partners.

Students had a brilliant afternoon as they browsed and set up stalls selling textiles, art, games and cakes, with most goods being designed made by the students themselves including aprons, giftcards, necklaces, candles and a cook book.

But the highlight of the afternoon was soaking their tutors, who were locked in stocks and subjected to wet sponges being thrown at them!

The total money raised at the event topped £400, and will be split between the nominated charities.
