It’s the people that make Treloar’s so special

Treloar College employs approximately 388 qualified, dedicated staff with a wide range of skills, expertise and professional training as well as Treloar Volunteers. They work together to enable students at Treloar College to achieve their potential, whatever their ability. The College governors (link to About Us section) bring a range of skills and expertise. We are very grateful for the support they give us, which they do for free.

Our governors include a parent or guardian and representatives of both teaching and non-teaching staff. The Chairman and Chief Executive of Treloar Trust, and the Principal of the School, are also ex officio members. Treloar Trustees are mainly drawn from the governing bodies of Treloar School and Treloar College.

Who oversees the College?

Treloar School and Treloar College are part of Treloar Trust, a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. The Principal and the senior management team, supported by our dedicated College Governing Body manage the College.

Central services such as finance, HR, IT, fundraising and marketing are shared between Treloar School and College.
