Education Psychology at Treloar College

Extra support if you need it

If appropriate, our educational psychologist can work with you to understand any difficulties that may be interfering with your progress or wellbeing. Our aim is to help you make the most of your potential and the opportunities at the College.

All students can ask for an appointment with the educational psychologist, or a member of staff may suggest it.

The psychologist will work with you, and the staff who know you best, to clarify any problems that may come up and agree a suitable action plan.

With your consent, the psychologist can also liaise with your parents if appropriate, and may decide to do an assessment of your strengths and difficulties, so they can advise both you and other staff on the best way to develop your key strengths.
