Enrichment at Treloar College

Part of what makes Treloar College different is the range of activities and clubs our students can sample while they’re here, both during cirriculum time and after College. This provides students with the opportunity to taste new areas of study and interest. This consists of a set of 35 options that students choose from throughout the duration of their time at Treloar’s.

Students are encouraged to step outside their usual interests and try new things. The list includes many items that were suggested by our students, including internet shopping and banking, family history, world religions and ‘printing your own t-shirts’.  The programme has proved very popular and new titles are suggested and incorporated regularly.

Our students can also choose to take part in:

  • A wide variety of sports and leisure activities
  • Drama productions
  • Learning an instrument, singing or playing in the College band
  • Treloar College Radio
  • Many different hobbies
  • Horse riding or sailing
  • Fundraising for a charity
  • Student Council – where students have the power to choose
