Four Marks Golf Club rounded off the Captain’s year by presenting a much-welcomed cheque to Treloar’s.

David Lewis - the outgoing Club Captain – did the honours at Captain’s day, which saw the end of his twelve-month tenure representing the gentlemen.

The healthy sum of £525 was raised through the generosity of the members of this nine-hole course over past year.

A significant contributor to the final total were some challenging quiz evenings, as well as the Captain’s day itself.

There were also hearty donations from members who couldn’t play on the Captain’s day – as well as loose change that had been dropped out of golfers pockets onto the green over the season!

David said: “There are so many worthy charities, but it was nice to support one local to the club that ticks so many boxes - disability, care, education, young people and a wide range of therapies.”

David is pictured on the ninth hole presenting the cheque to Treloar's Community Development Manager, Jon Colville.
