Treloar’s was invited to a trip to the seaside with a difference.

Pebble Beach restaurant, in Barton-on-Sea, Hampshire, held a fundraising drive which saw customers make a £1 donation to the Alton-based charity, which runs a School and College for young disabled students.

Mike Caddy, owner of Pebble Beech, and John Axe, a trustee, invited Treloar’s Head of Community and Events, Jon Colville, to receive a cheque for an amazing £3,800, which will cover the full cost of supplying a cough assist machine for the medical centre at Treloar’s.

Mike and John insisted that customers hand over the cheque, as it was the customers who provided the donations.

Jon said: “This will make a huge difference to young people with trouble breathing and clearing their airways. We are truly grateful to Pebble Beach and their generous customers for making a difference to the young people at Treloar’s.”
