Treloar's swings into Alton event
3 June 2011
Treloar’s is on the hunt for some eager folk willing to make the most of the summer sun and take part in an event next weekend.
Visitors to Alton Public Gardens next Sunday (June 11) can expect a fun filled day from 10.30am – 4pm, with attractions such as 60s memorabilia, live bands and hula hoop demonstrations as the Alton Lions Club host The Swinging 60s bonanza.
And Treloar’s is looking for some participants for the ever popular ‘It’s a Knockout’ competition on the day.
Teams of four – or individuals - are encouraged to sign up to tackle a giant inflatable, with a few surprises along the way!
Entry is £5 per person or £20 for a team, and everyone who takes part will receive a medal for their efforts. Money raised from the event will be donated to Treloar’s.
Treloar’s Community Development Manager, Jon Colville, is looking forward to the event.
“It’s always a fantastic atmosphere at the Public Gardens and the Treloar’s team can’t wait to meet all the visitors, have lots of fun and raise money!”
