How to apply to Treloar School
Who can apply, and how to do it
Come and see for yourself
To find out more about us, it is best to come and visit us to see for yourself what we can offer. You’ll have the chance to see other students and meet our staff. If you wish, you can attend a parents open day without your child before we arrange any interviews or assessments.
To arrange a visit, or for answers to any questions you can contact our Admissions team on 01420 547 425 or email admissions@treloar.org.uk
Our Admissions team will be pleased to put you in touch with parents of current students to discuss Treloar’s from their point of view.
What happens next?
To be sure that Treloar's is the right place for you and your child, we offer places based on an interview and assessment. Ocassionally, we may ask you to participate in a longer assessment before offering a place.
Once you have come for a visit, and if you and our staff feel that your child's needs can be met at Treloar's, we will make arrangements to assess their suitability for a placement.
A child doesn’t need specific qualifications to get a place with us. We simply need to feel confident that we have the resources and expertise to help them gain an education and reach their potential. We accept children and young people from all backgrounds, from across the UK and abroad. Once a place has been provisionally offered, funding needs to be agreed with the relevant local authority.
"We came away from the interview very happy. Treloar's was a place the whole family was happy with."
For any questions you have about the application procedure, please contact our Admissions team on 01420 547 425 or email admissions@treloar.org.uk
