Treloar Trust is both a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. Treloar School and Treloar College are part of Treloar Trust but managed as separate 'operating divisions'. They share a range of services run centrally by the Trust such as fundraising, HR, finance, transport and marketing.
Who does what?
Patrons – these individuals give generously of their time to support our work and help us raise our profile in their chosen fields.
Trustees – the Board of Trustees is in the main, drawn from the governing bodies of Treloar School and Treloar College. The Trust Chief Executive serves as secretary to the Trustees and clerk of the Governing Bodies and chairs the Treloar Leadership Team.
Governors – the governors bring a range of skills and expertise to Treloar’s and give freely of their time to support us. The role of the School and College governing bodies are to assist the headteacher, principal and their senior management teams in operating and developing the organisation and their services.
Treloar Leadership Team – this is the executive body charged with the day to day management of the Trust’s activities.
Medical consultants – these support the work of our medical team and the young people at Treloar School and College.
