Living at Treloar’s

A home away from home

When you come to college at Treloar’s, you will probably choose to board with us. Most of our students do. And because we manage our halls as a number of smaller units, staff and students have the opportunity to really get to know each other well. And we also have the time and space to offer you the best kind of support.

  • Each of our five halls of residence has space for about 32 students
  • Each hall has its own team of highly qualified residential support staff and night staff, as well as therapy and nursing staff
  • You’ll either have your own room, or if you wanted to share we could arrange this.
  • Bedrooms have hoists, and we’ll make sure we have the right bed or sleeping system for you.

Residential support staff are an important part of your college life. They’ll work closely with other specialists to help you be as independent as possible. And if you need them to, they can help you manage day-to-day activities, such as your finances and social life.

They will also carry out your care plan, and help you with achieving a wide range of goals. And if you need intimate physical care, you can be sure that Treloar’s staff are trained to the highest standards, and that every effort is always made to respect your dignity, privacy and self-esteem.
