Every student is different – and every person’s college experience will be different too. That’s why we place a huge emphasis on you as an individual when you come to Treloar’s.
You’ll have your own Individual Learning Plan (ILP), which looks at your life as a whole, not just what you’re studying, and describes your aims and goals, and the steps you need to take to achieve them.
You’ll work with your team (including your carers, tutors and therapists) to write your ILP so you can make informed choices while you’re at college, and when you leave Treloar's.
The important thing about your ILP is that, while there are lots of people here who can help you achieve your goals, the motivation and effort has to come from you. You and your team will get together and review your progress every term – and you can update your ILP, depending on how things are going and how your plans are progressing.
