Moving On: extending the vision of Lord Mayor Treloar
The Moving On programme helps disabled people aged between 18 and 65 ‘move on’ in some way in their lives. The project offers:
• Free support from a disability outreach worker
• Self-help guide
• The Moving On blueprint
The Moving On programme has been piloted in Woking and Lewisham but we are now looking to roll the programme out nationally. In order to do this we need to raise £100,000 a year which will fund the setting up of a number of regional programmes including the provision of outreach staff.
