What kind of standards can you expect?

As a college, we aim to offer the best possible service to our students – in terms of helping you achieve your academic potential, and progress with your goals.

As one of the largest employers in north east Hampshire, providing education, residential care, catering, medical, nursing, and therapy support, we have our own strict internal standards in place. Our staff are continually developing their professional skills with ongoing training. We are also guided, monitored and inspected by external agencies and authorities, who monitor how we’re doing.

This includes:
  • Ofsted inspect us annually, and we’ve had excellent results over the last few years. In May 2004, Ofsted inspectors graded the College as ‘outstanding’ in three areas of learning, as well as for leadership and management, and ‘good’ in two other areas.
  • CSCI also inspect us once a year. Their recent reports have paid tribute to our students and their confidence, assertiveness and honesty, and to the way our residential support staff value and respect students and work with them to develop these characteristics.
You can read our latest inspection reports on the Ofsted and CSCI websites.
