Helping others to move on
Treloar’s Moving On project plays a key role in removing barriers, providing opportunities and helping physically disabled adults realise their true potential once they have left education.
This innovative service provides them with disability outreach workers on a one-to-one basis to help them develop local knowledge and links. In just four years we have helped hundreds to achieve their personal work goals, have a full social life and enjoy real independent living.
The Moving On programme is funded entirely by voluntary donations. Our aim is to roll the programme out to a wider audience enabling us to support even more people in the community beyond Treloar’s.
We need £100,000 a year just to maintain the current service.
