Moving on
Removing barriers and providing opportunities for disabled adults

Treloar's Moving On programme plays a key role in removing barriers, providing opportunities and helping physically disabled adults from 18 to 65. Moving On helps disabled adults to realise their true potential with free one-to-one support from a disability outreach worker. It has already helped hundreds achieve their personal work goals, have a full social life and enjoy real independent living.
We have two full-time disability outreach workers; one in Lewisham, south London and another in Woking, Surrey. They help disabled people who live, work or study in these areas to achieve a specific short-term goal such as finding a local social activity, investigating housing options, or preparing for employment. Their support is available for around 12 weeks.
Delivered through partnerships, collaborations and links with local services, we are committed to expanding this important programme to more locations.
