Future Fest took place again with a host of providers, organisations and educational institutions taking part. The event, in its 18th year, was established to fulfil the Treloar’s aim of helping to prepare its students to live as independent lives as possible once they leave the School or College. Students who attend can find a snapshot of the different elements they might need – from housing to advocacy services, care organisations and activity providers to universities and JobcentrePlus. This year’s event was held on Friday 12 February with approximately 36 charities and organisations taking part.

Feedback from exhibitors was overwhelmingly positive. One commented: “Thanks everyone for a great day on Friday at The Future Fest event. It was lovely meeting with all the students, carers and parents”.
