Parents at Treloar's
Parents with children at Treloar School, or College can find the opportunity to share experiences, concerns and questions with other families in a similar position a great help - sometimes it's good to know that you're not alone.
The Treloar Parents' Association (TPA) exists as a support network for parents, offering them the opportunity to communicate. School and College news is circulated regularly via email updates and the Association also meets four times per year - generally on a Sunday evening, to coincide with students returning to School, or College - to discuss topical issues.
The TPA committee work closely with Senior Management Teams at School and College to ensure that parents are kept abreast of developments and have a channel through which to communicate their views.
The TPA also raises funds through an annual fete which provides some of life's little comforts for our students and helps them to look on Treloar's as a home from home. Recent treats have included DVD players, electronic games and equipment for after-school youth and activity clubs. The fete usually takes place in June of each year.
