School takes pancake trophy
22 February 2012

The weather was kind for the Treloar’s pancake race on February 21, which meant it could be held outside in the Piazza at the Holybourne campus.
This was the first time the pancake race had involved students from both the College and the School, and it was the School which emerged victorious with class 8/9S being the overall winners.
Henry Slaughter of 8/9S was declared the Treloar’s pancake champion and he was presented with the winner’s shield by acting director of marketing and fundraising Jon Colville.
Jon Colville said: “It was the first time the Piazza has been used for a joint event and it was brilliant. It was really good fun with lots of competitive spirit and I’d like to say a big well done to the racers and also to the organisers.”
