Our Standards

At Treloar's, we strive to achieve the highest possible standards in the education and care that we provide. We have our own strict internal standards in place - and our staff are continually developing their professional skills with ongoing training.

We are also guided, monitored and inspected by many external agencies and authorities who ensure we deliver the highest quality.

The School is inspected, on a regular basis, by Ofsted for Education under Section 5 of the Education Act 2005, and for Residential Care under the Children Act 1989 as amended by the Care Standards Act 2000.

Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT)

Each student has a named MDT based on-site who work with them to understand them personally, support them and enable their education and daily life. The team meets regularly to update a student's achievement toward objectives and review the goals for the future. The process is coordinated by the personal tutor and includes residential care, therapy, medical, educational and transition staff.
