Finding special people to help our students
Fundraising plays a vital part in financing the highly skilled, multi-disciplinary staff who provide a unique blend of education, care and therapy for our students.
Specialist Staff Posts
Local authorities fund most staff posts at Treloar School. At College it is the Learning and Skills Council. However, this funding does not meet our requirements for specialist disciplines such as:
- Assistive technology
- Advisory team (counselling/sensory impairment)
- Chaplaincy
- Nursing staff
- Therapy team (occupational, physio and speech & language)
Specialist staff can cost us between £10,000 - £40,000 depending on our needs at any one time.
