Student Life at Treloar's College
Living at Treloar’s
A home away from home
When you come to College, you will probably choose to be a resident. Most of our students do. Because we manage our halls as a number of smaller units, staff and students have the chance to get to know each other well. And we also have the time and space to offer you the best kind of support.
Each of our five halls of residence has space for about 32 students. Every hall has its own team of highly qualified residential support staff and night staff, as well as therapy and nursing staff.

You’ll either have your own room, or if you want to share we can arrange this. All bedrooms have hoists, and we’ll make sure we have the bed or sleeping system that’s right for you.
Our residential support staff are an important part of college life. They’ll work closely with other specialists to help you be as independent as possible. If you need them to, they can help you manage day-to-day activities, such as your finances and social life.
They also carry out your care plan, and help you achieve a wide range of goals. And if you need intimate physical care, you can be sure that Treloar’s staff are trained to the highest standards, and that every effort is always made to respect your dignity, privacy and self-esteem.
