Paralympics - 9th Sept update

Paralympics

On Saturday the 6th September the Paralympics started in Beijing, and the team includes 4 of our ex-students competing in Boccia, swimming and athletics.

Sunday 7th Sept - Dan Bentley won one of his matches but unfortunatly lost the other, and David Smith lost both his opening matches but remained optimystic for the rest of the competion.

Monday 8th Sept - Ben Rushgrove qualified in his heat of the 100m and will be in the final on Tuesday 9th September.
David Smith and Dan Bentley won their remaining matches in the Boccia but were unsuccessful in reaching the quarter finals, but fellow team mate Nigel Murray is
 now into the semi finals.
