School and College Office Manager

£19,737.67 per annum, 25 hours per week (Full Year)
We are looking to recruit an Office Manager to support the Head of School and College in all aspects of School and College life and manage administrative staff working in the School and College. The successful candidate will ensure all enquiries are handled professionally and proactively, are recorded on the appropriate database and are monitored and reported on regularly.
Applicants will be required to carry out administrative duties including dealing with purchase requests, petty cash requirements, booking appointments, taking minutes, producing reports, answering the telephone, answering correspondence where applicable, dealing with queries from staff, LEAs, Social Services, parents and a variety of outside agencies. You will also be required to type/compose letters, references and reports which may be of a highly confidential and sensitive nature.
The post holder will hold a relevant level 3 Administrative/IT qualification or equivalent and hold comparative level 2 qualifications in Literacy based and Maths based qualifications (or be willing to work towards these). You will need to have experience of taking minutes and a good track record of leading teams to meet objectives and reporting on successes and areas for development. You must have exceptional communication skills to liaise with external stakeholders.
