Parent and child group for pre-school children
The weekly activity programme runs one morning each week from 9.30-11.30am and caters for up to 6 pre-school aged children and their parent or carer. Children are offered a 12 week programme. The sessions are led by a paediatric physiotherapist and concentrate on handling, positioning and physical targets.
Parents are invited to bring a packed lunch for their child and to join a lunch time session after the morning session. A speech and language therapist and an occupational therapist are on hand to assist with feeding and positioning. Dietetic support is available for one session.
Coffee mornings for all parents
There is a coffee morning for all Treloar’s parents each Monday morning at 9am during term time. These are an opportunity to talk to other parents with advice and support offered by Treloar’s Parent Teacher Association. There is an opportunity during the sessions to request workshops and training.
Weekly workshops and training
The workshop content is driven by requests from parents and will be delivered by appropriate staff. Workshop topics may include Education Health Care Plans, play, early communication and moving on. The workshops are available to Treloar School, College and local parents.
