Parallel London

On Sunday 3rd September 2017, London’s Olympic Park played host to Parallel London - a fully accessible and inclusive mass participation push/run. The multi-distance event was open to all ages and abilities – disabled and non-disabled – with no equipment restrictions and free buddies for anyone who needed support. Treloar's was there and we had a great day, raising over £1,000.

The push/run forms the centrepiece to a wider family festival showcasing the best in inclusive attractions. With lots of interactive stands, activities to try and displays to watch, plus delicious food stalls, it really was a family fun day out.

The dates for 2018 haven't yet been set but we will have places available for anyone who wants to run, walk, wheel, push or be pushed and raise vital funds for Treloar's.

About Parallel London

Parallel London is a disability-led event that has been specifically designed for anyone to participate, regardless of age, disability or health condition.

Everyone and anyone can enter Parallel London – disabled and non-disabled, beginner and pro. All you have to do is choose your challenge – 100m, 1km, Super Sensory 1km, 5km, 10km – sign up through Treloar’s and get training. Simple!

And because this event is all about inclusion and anyone can participate regardless of ability, they gladly offer free places for carers of disabled participants. This allows those who can’t complete the course alone the opportunity to take part.

Parallel London is not just about racing against the clock, but also about celebrating the spirit of togetherness and everyone crossing the finishing line. To find out more about event please visit the Parallel London website -

We had a fantastic time in 2017 and can't wait for 2018. Hope to see you there!
