Plant Sale Success

On Saturday 13th May The Friends of Treloar's held their annual plant sale here on campus.

Even though the weather was a bit overcast, over 100 visitors came to peruse the plants. With specialist stall Phoenix Perennials selling unusual plants and local gardening expert Geoff Hawkins on hand to answer any gardening questions, there was plenty to see and a lot of choices to be made!

In addition to the huge range of plants, visitors enjoyed a wide range of stalls selling Treloar goodies, homemade cakes and jams, as well as beauty products and books. The "bucket raffle" was also a big success with hampers and prizes from the Hen & Chicken being won. All the plants on sale were grown on by volunteers in our greenhouse or kindly donated by the Friends.

The Friends are ecstatic to announce that more than £3,500 has been raised for Treloar’s.
