Poppy's Marathon Dreams

Feb. 6, 2017 Back to news index

On the 9th April, Treloar School student Poppy will be taking part in her FIRST marathon in Brighton, alongside her older brother Sam and her Dad, Rob.

Poppy has quadriplegic cerebral palsy. She has always had huge aspirations and loves to challenge her disability.

You can read their incredible story here.

Poppy, Sam and Rob are pushing themselves for Treloar's and we are totally blown away by their commitment, motivation and passion to make this happen! Brighton Marathon is not only 26.2 miles in length but significantly along Brighton's hilly thoroughfares - a real challenge to seasoned runners. And if all goes to plan, this is just a warm up for the Swansea Triathlon in May!

THANK YOU TEAM JONES!!
