Our fourth St Swithun’s Way Walk and Run took place earlier this month with 280 supporters taking part. It was a fantastic day and despite the forecast promising showers all week even the weather behaved itself and kept dry on the day. The 5 mile halfway point provided a popular stopping point once again with hot drinks and delicious cakes kindly provided by Bentley Primary School. For those who completed the ten miles, there were well-deserved bacon butties at the finishing point. This event will be back again next year by popular demand.
A huge thank you to everyone took part and enjoyed the day! We would also like to thank Hildon who kept everyone hyrdrated throughout the course and Fyffes for energisingparticipants with their delicious bananas.
