We offer two accredited pathways in our Sixth Form Provision. Each one offers our students the opportunity to extend their learning, social, and independence skills at a level and pace that suits their individual needs.
Treloar's Sixth Form is run by:
- Experienced class teachers, supported by our Student Support Assistants
- Subject specialist teachers - in sport, music, technology and art
- A multi-disciplinary team of therapists and nurses
- Additional specialists - such as an Educational Psychologist and Visual Impairment Advisor
All the young people attending our Sixth Form have the opportunity to choose from a range of placement opportunities according to their needs.
"Students in Year 11 and the sixth form have the opportunity to take part in work experience around the school and also in the local and wider community. This enables them to put into practice the real-life skills they have developed in the school and apply them to everyday activities, preparing them extremely well for the next stages of their education and adult lives".
