Communication Support Worker (CSW) with BSL Signing Skills

Up to £20,344 pa (pro-rata to 42h/w for part-time staff)
Treloar School are looking to appoint a Communication Support worker (CSW) to support an identified deaf student.
The ideal candidate will have British Sign Language (BSL) Level 3 minimum for this role. You will support the student to achieve full access to learning within the curriculum whilst promoting their independence. You will be required to provide communication support and guided teaching support to a student with a hearing loss and additional, mobility, communication and language needs.
The role is linked to a specific student attending Treloar College/ School.
The successful applicant will be well supported by the class teacher, SENCO/ Deputy Head, onsite Speech & Language Therapy department and the Specialist Teacher Advisor for Hearing impairment to help them meet the needs of the student and develop confidence within the role.
