Treloar School provides outstanding education, care, therapy, independence training and medical support to young people with physical disabilities from all over the UK and overseas. Our aim is to prepare these young people for adult life, giving them the confidence and skills to achieve their full potential.
Whether you have experience as a Head of School and are seeking a new challenge or if you are a senior leader working towards your first Head of School position, this is an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking an exceptional Head of School with extensive experience in special education to lead our outstanding school. Reporting to the Principal, Martin Ingram, the next Head of School will share our values and will drive forward a vision for excellence in an organisation which has remained at the forefront of developments in our sector for the past hundred years.
The successful candidate will be a visible, enthusiastic and collaborative leader with a demonstrable track record of successful middle or senior leadership in special education. They will have excellent communication and presentation skills and will be a compelling ambassador for the School. The next Head of School will enable our 80 students from 2 to 19 years meet their full potential in all aspects of their learning, progression and development at Treloar’s. We are looking for an ambitious and innovative person; previous experience of working with young physical disabled people is desirable.
