We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our therapy team. The post will initially be to cover maternity leave with a view to becoming permanent subject to review. You will manage a defined caseload of students with complex physical, sensory and learning disabilities demonstrating clinical reasoning, analysis and problem solving throughout the Occupational Therapy process.
Occupational Therapy is seen as integral to all aspects of the students’ daily life; intervention is therefore closely linked with residential and educational programmes, and carried out in conjunction with therapy and health colleagues. You will maximize students’ abilities to engage with and perform functional tasks in the areas of self-care, leisure and productivity.
We offer continuity of care to our students, which gives the opportunity for immense job satisfaction, working in an inspiring atmosphere. We are rated Outstanding by Ofsted and CQC in every area. The successful candidate will hold an Occupational Therapy degree/diploma, be able to evidence CPD and be registered with the HPC.
