Treloars are currently looking to recruit a Housekeeper to join our Gloucester residential house based in the School. The Housekeeper will ensure the day-to-day tidiness of the house, including student’s bedrooms and the communal areas. They will also have the responsibility of managing, ordering and distributing the laundry, linen, stores and key stock items, as well as assisting in helping some students to achieve their independent laundry skills and recording evidence on the Databridge system.
The successful candidate should have a good general level of education, computing knowledge, good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels, including with students and staff.
Previous experience of working in a caring environment would be beneficial. The job holder will the ability to work independently and to prioritise own work load.
Hours: 20 hours per week (term-time only) there will need to be a degree of flexibility in the rota at the beginning and end of terms.
