Junior Student Support Assistant
£16,600 per annum
25 – 42 hours per week

We welcome applicants applying via the Government’s Kick Start Scheme. To be eligible you will need to be:
- Aged 16-24
- Unemployed and in receipt of Universal Credit for 6 months plus
- Referred by your Jobcentre Work Coach
- Be available to work for 25+ hours
- Be able to undertake a 6-month training programme during the 1 year placement
We seek to recruit Junior Student Support Assistant’s who are passionate about supporting young people with physical disabilities. These roles include assisting the students in a residential boarding house setting and in educational learning within our school or college.
Junior Student Support Assistant’s duties will include:
- Helping students with all aspects of daily living
- Assisting with nutritional and feedings requirements
- Assisting Students to achieve their goals
- Assisting with therapy programmes
- Helping with the maintenance of teaching aids
- Keeping records in line with regulatory requirements
- Personal care including washing, dressing and toileting
