Salary £27,917 – £37,389, plus night allowance, uplift for children’s nurses and a £2000 ‘golden hello’ (pro rata), and many other benefits.
Our night team are a crucial part of our service, and respond to changing clinical needs throughout the night. We have on average 130 residential students overnight, aged 11 to 25 yrs, and the nurses are responsible for supporting with clinical procedures and assessing health and deterioration.
We are looking to appoint an experienced nurse (adult, child or learning disability) to join our team for regular night shifts (2 per week). You will have recent clinical experience in acute care or with children and/or adults with disabilities, chronic or life limiting conditions and be confident at managing clinical deterioration. You will also have experience in supporting or training care staff, as our care staff provide the direct care overnight.
We use electronic systems for care notes and medicines administration; we offer comprehensive training, with good links to the NHS, and external opportunities for CPD and further study. We are rated Outstanding by Ofsted and CQC.
