Term Time Pharmacy Technician

Treloar’s is one of the largest specialist Schools and Colleges in the UK for young people with disabilities. Our fundamental purpose is simple; to enable disabled young people to fulfill their potential in every aspect of their lives.
We are seeking an experienced, organised and hardworking term time pharmacy technician / medicines management technician to join a team of two who take responsibility for processing medicine and feed supplies for our 170 students. You will be based in a busy health centre within the school and college, and work closely with our GP service and off site dedicated pharmacy to ensure that each student has access to the correct medicines and that care staff are provided with clear directions for administration. You will ensure that medicines are correctly transcribed onto our electronic system, that orders and returns are efficiently organised and that each student’s medicines are stored correctly.
The post is perfect for someone who would like to work autonomously, within a supportive team, knowing they are enhancing the lives of students with physical disabilities. You will need to have your pharmacy technician qualification and a minimum of a one years experience post qualification.

Salary: £23,042 – £26,852 per annum (pro-rata for part time)
Full time (42 hours per week) or part time (30 hours plus considered)
