Warmer days bring a buzz to the playground

School

As the weather warms, our primary playground has come back to life.

As the warmer weather has arrived, so too has a wonderfully buzzy playground.

For the first time in many months, our youngest students were able to explore their playground again, reconnecting with the colours, textures, sounds and imaginative possibilities that make this space so loved.

The playground brings a true sense of community. The space has once again become a celebration of inclusion and shared experience, where students come together to enjoy play in ways that feel right for them.

This playground was created with careful thought and purpose. Everything within it has been designed to support participation, independence, and enjoyment for every student. It is more than a collection of equipment; it is a place where friendships grow, confidence blossoms, and each student can express themselves freely and fully.

Seeing our students return to this space reminded us of the importance of play in school life. Play is not just something children do; it is how they learn to communicate, imagine, explore and connect.
