Diverse physiotherapy support

College

Treloar's students benefit from diverse physiotherapy support with 1:1 sessions, hydrotherapy and specialist equipment.

Treloar College students access physiotherapy activities throughout the week in 1:1 sessions, hydrotherapy, small groups as well as a weekly class session. Our students have a range of equipment they use regularly such as standing frames and walkers.

Physiotherapy sessions form a vital part of students' timetable here at Treloar’s. Having the opportunity to transfer out of their wheelchair and engage in physical activity with their peers is beneficial for their physical, psychological, social and emotional well-being. Our physio sessions bring a sense of shared goals and camaraderie, whilst helping our students maintain or progress their cardiovascular fitness and range of motion.
