Prepare to see Mansion House in a whole new light as we collaborate with the creators of Luxmuralis!

Join us for a captivating, immersive evening where light, sound, architecture and the creativity of our students come together in a mesmerising display of art.

We’re proud to announce Beyond the Frame, an immersive, one-night-only event at Mansion House on Friday 21 November 2025, in collaboration with the visionary projection artists Luxmuralis. This spectacular evening will feature the acclaimed Life projection by Luxmuralis, alongside a bespoke, never-before-seen projection celebrating the extraordinary artwork of Treloar’s students.

During the evening, Life, Luxmuralis’s acclaimed projection, will bring Mansion House’s historic walls to life with moving images and sound that explore the wonder and complexity of life itself. This captivating installation is set to envelope guests in a sensory experience that is as beautiful as it is thought-provoking.

But the magic doesn’t stop there. For the first time ever, Luxmuralis is creating a bespoke 5-minute projection that shines a spotlight on the incredible artwork of Treloar’s students. The display will feature up to 50 pieces of artwork, created by Treloar’s students, showcasing their talent and highlighting the importance of disability art and inclusion in the arts. Three pieces in particular have been created around the elements air, earth and water.

‘These pieces were created by students from our Skills for Life and Skills for Independence groups, who selected art as their chosen subject. They explored a wide range of techniques, including lino plate printing, marbling, sponge painting, and creating cyanotypes, to bring their ideas to life.

For the ‘earth’ artwork, students painted sheets of paper and used them to construct flower shapes and colourful bugs, experimenting with pattern and composition. These designs were then photocopied in various sizes and arranged on a large green canvas to form the final piece.’ – Gemma, Art Teacher at Treloar’s

This exclusive display will celebrate their talent and highlight the importance of disability art and inclusion in the arts.

“It is a real pleasure to bring our light and sound installation ‘Life’ to the magnificent setting of Mansion House in support of the incredible work done by the Treloar’s. We’re proud to also include a special piece showcasing the creativity of the students at Treloar’s adding a meaningful layer to the installation.” — Peter Walker, Artistic Director, Luxmuralis

In addition to the immersive projections, guests can explore an exhibition of student artwork, with the chance to bid on pieces during a charity auction. All proceeds will directly support Treloar’s mission to provide education, care, and opportunities for young people with disabilities. To complement the evening’s creativity, each ticket includes wine and delicious charcuterie, perfect for mingling and reflecting on the inspiring displays.

With limited tickets available for this one-night-only event, Beyond the Frame is a rare opportunity to be part of something truly special—where your presence not only promises an unforgettable evening but also makes a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with disabilities.
