Treloar's curriculum offer for KS4 is future-focused, it emphasises and is rooted in the Preparation for Adulthood EHCP framework. It is adopted to ensure that each student is given maximum opportunity to develop key life and independence skills throughout the phase, preparing them consistently for the next steps in their life within and beyond school.

The curriculum it be based around a range of skills taught through national accreditations / qualifications. In addition, students will have Option Choices as part of their curriculum diet.

Having listened to the feedback from the Student Voice meetings, Treloar School has expanded KS4 Option Choices this year to include eSports. This rapidly growing sector blends online gaming with leadership and teamwork skills. Pablo Pecellin Romero, PE Teacher at Treloar's, said:

"Our students have taken part in an online course delivered in collaboration with the School of eSports, focusing on leadership, character development, communication and social skillsmany of which are transferable to physical sports and academic work. eSports also offer a wide range of career pathways and have been shown to improve behaviour, concentration, and attendance in schools."
