At Treloar’s, we go above and beyond to meet the needs of every student. Our incredible therapists work both in and out of the classroom, helping students thrive in every aspect of school and college life.

Supporting mental and physical health

In July, we celebrated Health and Well-being Week—a time dedicated to nurturing both the physical and emotional well-being of our young people.

From accessible sports and mindfulness sessions to creative horticulture workshops, our students got involved in activities designed to boost confidence, build resilience and support mental and physical health.

Students meet Crazy Creatures

As part of Health and Well-being Week, a team from Crazy Creatures visited Treloar’s with their animals. From fascinating insects to a tortoise, bearded dragon and a snake—our students had the chance to overcome their fears and face the incredible creatures.

Charlotte Jackson, Treloar’s College Tutor, said:

“Crazy Creatures team brought such energy, enthusiasm and a clear passion that really made the experience fun and engaging for our students. It was especially lovely to see how confidently and sensitively they interacted with our sensory learners—offering reassurance, adapting their approach where needed, and giving them opportunities to explore the creatures at their own pace.”

Our Health and Well-being Week was a week with the focus on fun, growth and well-being!
