Sixth Form showcase their enterprise work ahead of Titanic Performance to Councillor Graham Hill and local councillors and mayors.

On 11 February, Sixth Form presented their enterprise work in preparation for their Titanic performance to the Chairman of East Hampshire District Council Councillor Graham Hill and his fellow chairs and mayors of the local councils. 

The Sixth Form students shared how they decide which of the three Enterprise groups they would like to be in, which is often linked to their interests or skills they would like to develop. 

Production Team: 
• Presenting ‘Iceberg Productions’ 
• An enterprise for budding actors and directors in the making 
• Students are part of planning the script, auditioning for parts, sharing ideas for stage positioning and movement, choosing lighting to reflect emotions and setting scenes, sourcing props, costumes, etc. 
• A live performance will take place during the summer term 2026 

Props, gifts and marketing: 
• Within this enterprise, the students have an opportunity to promote the Sixth Form Enterprises through the creation of posters, noticeboards, media advertising and composing short newsletters to keep everyone up to date with events 
• We have also been investigating gifts to create and sell on the day of the performance. 
• The students will be supporting the other enterprises as needed with prop making and scenery 

Stage Design Team: 
• Students are part of creating the elements to bring the production to life 
• Starting off which sharing ideas as to how the stage could look, the students have been creating a scaled down model of the design 
• Upscaling elements to set the scenes is next on their agenda.
