This week, our Key Stage 4 eSports students took a major step in their Options programme this term as they coordinated and led their own school wide eSports competition. Students designed and delivered 2 tournaments (one for staff and one for students). Both events were highly competitive and prizes will soon be awarded to the winners.
Building on their visit to EA Sports in the autumn term, students applied what they learnt to structure and plan the event. Throughout the process they demonstrated strong communication, made strategic team decisions under pressure and showed excellent digital responsibility.
We are incredibly proud of their growing independence and the way they are embracing the skills that will prepare them for the summer term event that will reach an audience beyond school.
