Following its sold-out success in 2024 and 2025, The Treloar’s Gala Dinner returned on Friday 24 April for its most ambitious event yet. Proudly sponsored by Exclusive Networks, this year’s celebration marked a significant milestone, the 20th anniversary of the Gala Dinner. To honour the occasion, the event moved to Guildhall in London for the very first time, welcoming almost double the number of guests. The result was an unforgettable evening, bringing together a remarkable community of supporters united by a shared commitment to Treloar’s students.
From the moment guests stepped into the Emerald City themed reception, the tone for the evening was set. The historic Guildhall was transformed into a vibrant, immersive space, filled with energy. The evening concluded in spectacular style with an iconic ‘Back to the 80s’ DJ set from Martin Kemp. With a packed dance floor, singalong classics and glowing neon lights, guests embraced the celebration wholeheartedly, creating a fitting finale to a landmark year.
Catering partners Searcys Events delivered a truly memorable dining experience, crafting a creative Emerald City inspired menu. Guests enjoyed themed mocktails and imaginative canapés on arrival, followed by a carefully curated three-course dinner. From the ‘Tin Man’s Heart’ starter to the indulgent ‘Ruby Slipper’ dessert, every detail was thoughtfully designed to complement the evening’s theme.
Throughout the night, guests were encouraged to take part in a range of fundraising activities, including Heads or Tails, Treloar’s trivia, an exciting raffle and both live and silent auctions. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and generosity, culminating in a powerful pledge moment to support the future of Gloucester House and the young people who call it home.
As always, the true heart of the evening was Treloar’s students. Through a series of moving short films, guests heard from Aish, Reggie and Thomas, who shared their personal experiences of life at Treloar’s. Supported by their families and staff, their stories provided a powerful and emotional reminder of the impact of Treloar's work, bringing a sense of purpose to the celebrations.
Following such an incredible evening, we are already looking ahead to the next Treloar’s Gala Dinner. To be the first to hear about plans for 2027 and gain early access to tickets, please register your interest by emailing events@treloar.org.uk.
