Archie made the transition from Treloar College to a supported living community in 2025. An important step from education to residential living, supported by a tailored approach to meet his individual needs and aspirations.
“When I started at Treloar’s I dreamt of having a job one day but didn’t know how to make it a reality. I didn’t know how people would see my skills before judging me by my disability first. I also didn’t know what support employers could offer me and how I would organise the help I needed. It seemed like too big a mountain to climb.
I now live in supported living community where I run the local radio station and have some freelance video editing work.”
Archie is also an active member of the local Gardening club, growing his own produce, and keeps active through archery and boccia.
