Sarah joined Treloar’s 9 years ago as Bank staff, which gave her an opportunity to see if she liked the role. She soon found she ‘absolutely loved it’ and became a full time classroom technician.

In the classroom Sarah learnt about how to use an AAC to support students with speech and communication, alongside medication training and feeding skills, before progressing to a senior role in the residential house.

“The students are amazing. They inspire you. I love watching them progress”

Currently Sarah is working towards her Level 4 Lead Practitioner in Adult Care qualification.

'it’s one of the most amazing jobs you’ll probably ever have’
