Pupils from Andrews’ Endowed Primary School joined students at Treloar School for an exciting afternoon of table cricket on Wednesday 11 March and it proved to be a resounding success.
The event brought pupils from both schools together to practise key cricketing skills, focusing on batting, bowling and fielding through a series of fun, skill based activities. Once their techniques were sharpened, the young players put them to the test in full games of Table Cricket, bringing energy and enthusiasm to every match.
As well as providing sporting challenge, the session also encouraged students to form friendships, develop teamwork and refine tactics in an atmosphere rooted in encouragement, respect and excellent sportsmanship.
By the end of the afternoon, one thing was clear: both schools are already looking forward to the next chance to meet again at the table.
