Keeping students safe at Treloar's
At Treloar's the safety and wellbeing of students is vitally important. We want every student to feel happy, secure, and supported—so they can learn, grow, and enjoy their time with us.
What is Safeguarding?
Safeguarding means making sure children and young people are protected from harm, feel safe, and know who to talk to if they’re worried. It also means helping them develop the confidence and skills to keep themselves safe, both when at Treloar's, at home and in the community.
Who can I talk to?
If you ever have concerns about a student, please don’t hesitate to get in touch on 07825 262418
You can also speak to any member of staff, everyone at our school is trained to listen and respond with care.
How we keep students safe
We take safeguarding seriously and follow national guidance to make sure our policies and practices are up to date. This includes:
- Regular staff training
- Clear procedures for reporting concerns
- Working closely with families and outside agencies
- Promoting online safety and respectful behaviour
We also teach students about staying safe through lessons, assemblies, and during extra-curricular activities at Treloar's.
Useful Information
You can read our full safeguarding policy on our policies page.
